Limitations of the migration are…
Known Issues:
Users must reset their password manually using /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword See #1969 for detailed password information.
Forums
Forum visibility such as moderator or admin only forums will be publicly visible after importing and you need to secure these manually.
‘Link Forums’ will be imported as a standard forum without any URL redirect link.
‘Locked Forums’ will be imported as like a normal open forum, again you can close/lock these via the forums panel in wp-admin and setting the forum attributes status to closed.

No file attachments are imported.
Users
vBulletin does not support user profile support for ‘First Name’ and ‘Last Name’ only ‘username’ and that will be the WordPress Username.
vBulletin Moderators, Groups, Ranks are not imported, any users you wish to make ‘moderators’ or ‘keymasters’ you will have to assign these roles manually via the main WordPress Admin User panel (/wp-admin/users.php).
User ‘Personal Messages (PM’s) are not supported or imported.
User ‘Avatars’ are also not supported ‘out of the box’ by either WordPress or bbPress, if the users email address is registered with a ‘Gravatar this will automatically be used by WordPress and bbPress, otherwise this is plugin territory.vBulletin MSN, Skype custom profile fields are also not supported by WordPress or bbPress ‘out of the box’. (See Note #1 below)
We had a 5 hour DNS outage yesterday unfortuantely. I only noticed three hours in because my DNS was cached and everything seemed to be working fine. Anyway there’s something wrong with the new box’s DNS which I couldn’t fix so I moved us to a new set up after some failed attempt to fix it. Now it’s just a matter of our DNS information propaging globally again. Sorry all!

Can you do that in html? Afaik it’s either same or new window and up to the user if they want it i n a new tab.
I don’t think so. I’m not risking any more major changes. Things work well enough as they are now I think. What’s needed from here on in is no more change for a very long time and maybe traffic will improve.
I’ve been updated this side of the fence today. Mostly under the hood but when also the style. Now you mention it is a bit halloween-ish but it’s permanent and just part of my efforts of making the two sites into a more consistent whole that makes some kind of sense despite really just needing to be one website again. And I’m working to fix the button now, but thanks for the warning! 🙂
The psytrance channel update is live now although I had to cut it down to about an 8% refresh because on reflection I didn’t like many of the tracks I originally selected. Anyway I also have an update to the ambient channel running through audio processing right now too which should be live in about 15 minutes for a 6% refresh.
Never one to take a break. I’m busy working yet another update to the psychedelic trance stream which will be live in the next 12 hours and feature the a huge number of the latest tracks released exclusively within the last 8 month from a variety of record labels amounting to a 15% refresh of the playlist.
They gave me free access to their back catalog from promotional use. All our music comes from record labels and artists. It’s a massive job trying to curate it all though.
So I had an email from a record label I was formerly unfamiliar with inviting me to consider some of their music this morning which has now contributed to an impromptu update of the Pop and Rock channels each of amounts to a playlist update of 15% and 25% respectively.
I’m almost now done updating what has been the rock channel which now has many new tracks for an increase of 3750%. And is now officially a rock / country / jazz / easy listening channel.
Next up an update to the Pop / Indie channel. Should be done in a few hours with something around 20% new music.
